Defence Projects – Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (Norway)
Mechatronics has executed multiple long-term defence support projects in partnership with Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace for the Kuwait Ministry of Defense. Our work includes technical support, maintenance, and operational services for major military communication networks such as Al Tahreer and Al Ameen, along with the supply and deployment of mobile military communication shelters.
As part of the national offset obligations, Mechatronics—together with Kongsberg—fabricated, assembled and installed 63 RF-shielded mobile shelters on Humvee vehicles, supported by technology transfer from the original shelter manufacturer.
Mechatronics provides full routine maintenance for microwave communication towers. Scope includes: inspection, torque checks, tightening, guy-wire adjustment or replacement as needed, and complete tower painting. Work is executed in a structured sequence ensuring safety, compliance and reliability.
We perform turnkey fibre-optic infrastructure works, including duct route preparation, excavation and reinstatement, installation of PVC ducts and subducts, internal trunking, fibre cable installation (client-provided), labelling and installation of wall-mount and floor-standing network cabinets.
